10 Years of Services By Kim, 39 Years of God's Grace: A Journey of Faith, Service & Obedience
By Kimberly Coleman | Founder of Services By Kim
As Chapter 38 of my life comes to a close, I find myself reflecting on just how blessed I truly am. And when I say blessed, I mean blessed beyond measure!
This October is especially meaningful because I'm not only celebrating another year of life, but also 10 years of Services By Kim. Two milestones that have caused me to reflect on where I've been, who I've become, and where God may be leading me next.
If you had told me years ago that I would be celebrating a decade in business, with an incredible team of women, multiple locations, and a business that has grown into a women's wellness ministry, I probably wouldn't have believed you.
I genuinely didn't see all of this coming.
But God did.

What Started as a Gift Became a Calling
When I first began this journey, I simply wanted to help people feel better.
I've always had a caring heart and a desire to help others. God graciously blessed me with the gift of healing through therapeutic touch and a passion for supporting women through different seasons of life.
What I didn't realize then was how He would use those gifts to shape not only my career, but my purpose.
Over the years, Services By Kim has grown beyond massage therapy. I've had the privilege of supporting mothers through pregnancy, labor, birth, and postpartum recovery. I've worked with women navigating chronic pain, stress, physical limitations, and the everyday demands of life. I've also been blessed with opportunities to teach, mentor, and encourage other women pursuing their own calling in wellness and birth work.
Somewhere along the way, I began to recognize that God wasn't simply calling me to build a successful massage business.
He was calling me to build a women's wellness ministry.
A place where women could feel supported, cared for, encouraged, and reminded that their well-being matters.
And while the business has continued to evolve, that purpose has become clearer with every passing year.
None of This Was Earned. It Was Grace.
One thing I want to make very clear as I celebrate these milestones is that none of these blessings were earned through my own actions, abilities, or accomplishments.
Everything I have been entrusted with is a reflection of God's grace and mercy toward me.
I haven't always made the right decisions. I haven't always been obedient when God called me to move. I've questioned myself, allowed fear to influence my choices, and sometimes struggled to trust what I couldn't see.
There have been seasons of uncertainty, exhaustion, growing pains, and moments when I wondered whether I was capable of doing what was being placed before me.
Yet, God has continued to show me mercy.
He has opened doors I didn't know existed, connected me with people I never expected to meet, and provided opportunities I could never have created on my own.
And even in the seasons when things didn't go according to my plans, He was still working.
Looking back, I can recognize how some of the most uncomfortable moments were also the ones that required the greatest growth.
I am learning that obedience doesn't always come with clarity, and trusting God doesn't mean I won't experience fear.
Sometimes it means moving forward while still feeling afraid.
His faithfulness has never depended on my perfection. And for that, I am incredibly grateful.
To the Women Who Have Trusted Me: Thank You
I couldn't reflect on these 10 years without acknowledging the women who have allowed Services By Kim to become part of their lives.
To every client who has trusted me with your pain, your self-care, your pregnancy, your birth, or simply needed a safe space to rest and be cared for—thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Some of you have been with me since the very beginning. You've watched me grow, supported new services, referred your friends and family, and continued to trust me with your care.
Others have only recently become part of the SBK family, but your presence is just as meaningful.
I've had the privilege of witnessing women navigate some of life's most beautiful and difficult seasons.
I've celebrated pregnancies, welcomed babies, supported mothers through vulnerable moments, and walked alongside women working toward better physical and emotional well-being.
And somewhere between the appointments, conversations, laughter, tears, and life updates, many of you became more than clients.
You became women who inspired me, encouraged me, prayed for me, and taught me lessons I didn't even realize I needed.
You may have come to me seeking care, but so many of you have poured into my life in return.
That is something I will never take lightly.
Thank you for allowing me into your lives and for trusting the women on our team to continue that same level of care.
When I think about what makes these 10 years so special, it isn't the number of appointments completed, locations opened, or services added.
It's the relationships.
It's the stories.
It's knowing that God has allowed me to use something He placed in my heart to make a difference in the lives of others.
The Women Who Have Helped Shape This Journey
Another blessing I didn't anticipate was how many incredible women God would bring into my life through Services By Kim.
What began as my individual practice has grown into a team of women with their own unique gifts, experiences, passions, and perspectives.
I've also been blessed to build relationships with fellow business owners, birth professionals, educators, community organizations, and women who share a heart for serving others.
Some have encouraged me to think bigger. Others have challenged me to become a better leader. Some have simply reminded me that I don't have to do everything alone.
And I am grateful for every one of them.
One of the most beautiful things about this journey has been learning that building something meaningful doesn't mean every gift has to come from me.
Sometimes leadership means recognizing the gifts God has placed in others and making room for them to flourish.
I am still learning how to do that well.
But I am thankful that God continues to surround me with women who inspire me to grow, both personally and professionally.
Growing a Business While God Grows Me
If there's one thing these 10 years have taught me, it's that personal growth and business growth often happen together.
I've had to learn how to lead, delegate, make difficult decisions, establish boundaries, and become more intentional with my time.
I've also had to confront some of my own fears and insecurities.
There have been opportunities that required me to step outside my comfort zone—expanding into new locations, teaching, building partnerships, becoming more visible, and trusting others with parts of a business that once depended entirely on me.
None of those things have always come naturally.
And while I spend so much of my time encouraging other women to prioritize their well-being, God has also been teaching me that I cannot continually pour into others while neglecting the care I need myself.
Rest, boundaries, and stewardship of my own health are part of this calling too.
I'm learning that I don't have to prove my worth through constant productivity.
I don't have to have every answer before taking the next step.
And I certainly don't have to carry everything on my own.
The same God who entrusted me with this work is capable of sustaining it.
I'm grateful for how much SBK has grown, but I'm even more grateful for how much God has grown ME.
Chapter 39: Gratitude, Bold Obedience & Trust
As I prepare to enter Chapter 39, I've been thinking about what I want this next season of my life to represent.
Three things continue to come to mind:
Gratitude. Bold obedience. Trust.
Gratitude for everything God has already done, including the blessings I recognized immediately and the ones I only understood after looking back.
Bold obedience to follow Christ when He calls me to move, even when the assignment feels bigger than my abilities.
And trust that His plans are good, even when they don't look anything like the plans I created for myself.
I want to spend less time allowing fear to dictate my decisions and more time being obedient to what God has placed on my heart.
I want to be intentional about the way I serve, the relationships I nurture, the opportunities I pursue, and the way I care for myself along the journey.
And I want to remain open to the possibility that what God has planned next may look completely different from what I expect.
Am I excited? Absolutely! Am I nervous? Also, absolutely!
I have no idea how many more amazing women God will bring into my life, what new opportunities will come, or how this ministry will continue to evolve.
But if these past 10 years have shown me anything, it's that God's vision is far greater than my own.
And I don't want fear to keep me from experiencing what He has prepared.
The Next Chapter Is Still Being Written
Ten years ago, I couldn't have imagined the journey that was ahead of me.
Today, I still can't fully imagine what the next 10 years will look like.
And I'm becoming more comfortable with that.
My responsibility isn't to know every detail of the future. It's to remain faithful with what God has entrusted to me today.
To continue serving with humility.
To care for women with compassion and intention.
To steward the gifts and relationships He has placed in my life.
And to remain willing when He calls me into something new.
To my clients, team members, community partners, friends, and family who have supported Services By Kim over these past 10 years, thank you. Your encouragement, trust, prayers, and love have meant more than I can adequately express.
And to every woman I have yet to meet, I look forward to the opportunity to connect, learn from you, and perhaps become a small part of your journey too.
10 years of Services By Kim. 39 years of life. Countless blessings I could never earn, countless women I'm grateful to have met, and a testimony God is still writing.
I don't know everything this next chapter holds, but I know Who holds it.
And I'm choosing to trust Him with all of it.
To God be ALL the glory! 💜
With love and gratitude,
Kimberly Coleman,
