Virtual Session

We offer virtual sessions via zoom or FaceTime to go over all your lactation concerns.

In-Home Session

We will come to your home and do a in-person assessment of how feeding are going and troubleshoot any issues you may have.

Meet Tyresa

Your Lactation Specialist

At the age of 14, Tyresa witnessed the devastating event of infant loss, an event that she would later recognize as my initial source of inspiration in becoming a birth worker. She is passionate about and committed to safely guiding and supporting families throughout pregnancy, labor, birth, and the postpartum period via lactation support. This support is implemented by facilitating information, resources, and options so that each family can develop their own conclusions and make informed decisions allowing them to feel confident, empowered, and safe. She is also there to help your partner transition your family through a very tender time with the belief that partners also have a “birth” of sorts when they participate in the birth. She encourages partners to participate in the labor and delivery process and to use their voice throughout the entire process.

Tyresa is an experienced Birth and Lactation Doula., The mom of two amazing children, a 10 year old daughter and a 3 year old son. Both successfully breastfed for 2 years each, an experience she truly enjoyed & hopes every woman receives the support necessary to breastfeed for however long they choose. She loves to bring the knowledge that she’s acquired through her own background and training from different cultures and organizations to keep up with the latest information so that she is able to provide her clients with the best support possible.
